Terms and Conditions and Right of Withdrawal – Raappana Knivmakeri

General

These terms and conditions apply to the sale of goods from Raappana Knivmakeri to consumers. A consumer purchase refers to sales to individuals who are not primarily acting as part of a business activity. The purchase is regulated by, among others:
  • the Consumer Purchases Act
  • the Right of Withdrawal Act
  • the E-commerce Act
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

The Agreement

The agreement between the buyer and the seller consists of:
  • information provided in the online store
  • order confirmation
  • any direct communication
  • these terms and conditions
In case of conflict, information provided in the order and direct communication shall prevail, provided it does not conflict with applicable law.

The Parties

Seller: Raappana Knivmakeri Buyer: The person placing the order and entering into the purchase agreement.

Prices

All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT unless otherwise specified. The total price, including any applicable fees, will be shown before the order is completed.

Payment

Raappana Knivmakeri requires full prepayment for all orders. Production and processing of the order will begin only after payment has been received. Read more about payment here:

Delivery

Products from Raappana Knivmakeri are handmade and produced to order. The normal production time is approximately 3 weeks, but may vary between 4 and 8 weeks. We offer free shipping with tracking via Posten/Bring or PostNord. Read more about delivery and the right of withdrawal here:

Right of Withdrawal

You generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online. Exceptions apply to products that are:
  • custom-made
  • personally customised

Complaints

If the product has a defect or fault, this must be reported within a reasonable time. The right to complain is in accordance with consumer protection law:
  • 2 years
  • or up to 5 years for products intended to last significantly longer

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be attempted resolved amicably. The buyer may contact the Consumer Council for guidance.

Privacy

Processing of Personal Data

Raappana Knivmakeri processes personal data in order to:
  • process orders
  • deliver products
  • communicate with customers
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).

What Data We Store

When placing an order, we store necessary information such as:
  • name
  • address
  • phone number
  • email address
  • order information
Data is stored only as long as necessary and in accordance with accounting legislation.

Payment

Payment information is handled by third-party payment providers. Raappana Knivmakeri does not store card information.

Use of Data

Data is used only for:
  • processing orders
  • customer service
  • accounting
We do not share personal data with others unless necessary to provide our services or required by law.

Storage Period

Order-related data is stored in accordance with accounting laws (normally 5–10 years). Inquiry-related data is stored as long as necessary to follow up the case.
