Delivery Terms and Right of Withdrawal – Raappana Knivmakeri

Delivery

All products from Raappana Knivmakeri are handmade, and production is primarily made to order.

Production Time

The normal production time is approximately 3 weeks.

For certain orders, the production time may vary between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on:

  • workload
  • choice of materials
  • customisation

Updated delivery time will be stated in the order confirmation or agreed directly with the customer.

Shipping

Raappana Knivmakeri offers free shipping on all orders.

Orders are shipped with:

  • Posten / Bring
  • or PostNord

All shipments include tracking.

Delivery Time

Once the product has been completed and shipped, the normal delivery time is:

  • 1–3 business days within Norway

Delays by the carrier may occur and are beyond our control.

Risk of Loss

The risk of the goods transfers to the buyer once the item has been delivered.

If the product is damaged during transport, this must be reported to the carrier and Raappana Knivmakeri as soon as possible.

Unclaimed Packages

If a package is not collected and is returned to us, we reserve the right to charge the actual costs related to shipping and handling.

Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal for Standard Products

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the product, in accordance with the right of withdrawal regulations.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must:

  • notify us within the deadline
  • return the product in substantially the same condition as received

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are:

  • custom-made according to the customer’s specifications
  • personalised
  • produced based on individual choices of materials or design

This applies to most handmade knives from Raappana Knivmakeri.

Returns and Refunds

In case of an approved return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days after we have received the product, or documentation that the product has been returned.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Condition of Returned Goods

The customer may examine the product in a responsible manner.

If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and function, a deduction for loss of value may be made.

Complaints

If the product has a defect or fault, this must be reported within a reasonable time after the issue was discovered.

The right to make a complaint is in accordance with consumer protection law:

  • 2 years
  • or up to 5 years for products intended to last significantly longer
